Veteran Benefits

Eligible veterans may qualify for a variety of memorial benefits provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Depending on eligibility, these benefits may include:


  • A government-furnished grave marker or medallion
  • A United States burial flag
  • A Presidential Memorial Certificate
  • Military Funeral Honors


Many of these benefits are available even when a veteran is laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Our experienced staff can help families understand their eligibility and assist with the necessary paperwork.

A Place Close to Home

Many families appreciate having their loved one buried close to home, where family and friends can gather, visit, and remember for years to come. Magnolia Park's Veterans Memorial Section allows eligible veterans to receive a complimentary grave space while remaining in the Middle Georgia community they proudly called home.
